Michigan and Wisconsin Certification
Participants will learn:
How to care for and store their firearms
How to defend themselves in or out of their home
What to expect if they ever have to use their weapon to defend themselves
Where they should NOT carry their weapon
Concealed Carry Laws
Range shooting at an off-site location
At the end of the training you will receive a certificate to obtain your individual Concealed Carry Permit.
To receive the certificate participants must:
Attend the full training session (7:00am - 4:00pm)
Pass a 25 question test
Using their own weapon (or one rented from the shop) be able to hit an 8.5” x 11” piece of white paper (at minimum 15 out of 30 shots) at a distance of 21 feet
Doug is an NRA Instructor, a U.S. Air Force Military Police veteran, a Menominee County Reserve Deputy Sheriff, and Navy/Delta Force. He has over 20 years of experience teaching weapons and is a certified instructor in both MI and WI. Doug is married with 3 daughters and resides in Menominee, MI.
Items You Will Need:
A copy of your driver’s license or ID
Pen and paper
Your gun of choice and 50 rounds of ammo (leave your gun and ammo in your vehicle)
Ear and Eye Protection
Lunch Break 12p-1p.
Must be paid for in advance to reserve your spot.
Class size is limited. Gun and ammo available for rent.
